RedGod Academy is established in the year 2021 as a subsidiary of RedGod Studios Private Limited founded by Rajesh.P.K animator and artist, over 15 years of experience in entertainment industry, helping to create high quality character animation for Hollywood feature films.
Our goal is to nurture local talents and prepare the next generation of animators and artists for growing and competitive industry.
Our Advanced 3D Animation training program’s objective is to prepare students for employment as an animator in the media and entertainment industry.
Animation Course Overview
This animation course provides an introduction to the exciting world of animation, while emphasizing its connection to the creative thought process. Yet the underlying basis of high-quality 3D animation originates in traditional design and animation methodologies.
In the Advanced 3D Animation Program, students learn the craft of 3D animation, how to move characters and make them perform and act in a convincing way.
In our one-year advanced animation training program, students get opportunity to learn essential aspects of animation, from storyboard to final movie also technical and artistic tools they need to master in 3D animation.
This animation course teaches body mechanics and challenges students to bridge their acting abilities with the characters they animate. Also, our Animation classes teach the skills needed to help you to step into the career at world’s leading animation and VFX studios.
We’ll make sure you are up to speed on all the latest developments demanded by the industry, you'll have a chance to intern, network and study. Pass out with a top-class portfolio, a quality show reel, and a very good knowledge of technical tools, to launch you into the industry.
Also this course offers a new dimension to the process of film making and storytelling.
Animation Course Content
Introduction to 3D Animation Software
3D animations have transformed numerous fields, including film making, computer games, architecture and product design. This session provides an introduction to the world of 3D software. Students will learn an overview of the artist workflow as it relates to modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering but majorly in animation with 3D software.
The Principles Of Animation Applied To 3D
Many of the principles of traditional animation were developed in the 1930's at the Walt Disney studios. These principles were developed to make animation, especially character animation, more realistic and entertaining. Here students will learn how to apply the principles of animation to 3D Computer Animation.
Body Mechanics
Body Mechanics session will teach you necessary skill to animate physicality and body mechanics believably, simply how human or animal body moves. In a body, mechanics is the physicality of animating full body on both human and animal characters. Will teach you how to observe and animate physical shots like running, jumping and walking also source of realistic motion, how timing and spacing choices can take your animation from realistic to stylized and how to polish your animation etc.
How to Read Reference Video for Animation
Students will learn shooting and using video references for animation to get an idea of timing, weight shifts, poses, nuance and personality. Using reference is an industry standard today for working professionals.
Acting and Facial Performance
Students will learn how to use the basic principles of animation, make facial expressions, observation, timing, understanding of the personality and its inherent character traits, back history, placing them within the situations described by the script/storyboard or by the director and then arriving at a set of empathized actions or reactions shaped by the vocal performance. How to create a better shot to tell a better story by using the magic of animation. Ultimately bringing the characters to life.
Showreel Development
For animators and visual effects people it’s all about the demo reel. We will help you to make an effective one.
Weekly Drawing Sessions
Drawing is always something that has been closely related to animation. Once in every week we are providing still and life drawing classes for students to improve their drawing skills.
Duration:12 months including 2 months internship at RedGod Studios Pvt Ltd.

Certificate of Completion
RedGod Academy offers a Certificate of Completion upon of Advanced 3D Animation Program.
We will prepare you for employment in fields where 3D imagery and animation are used, primarily for the entertainment industries of feature film, visual effects, gaming, broadcast and advertising. Also, we will help students in showreel development and polishing.
RedGod Academy offers services to place students in industry positions upon successful completion. Our Placement Services include job listings and information from contacts with industry recruiters, and showreel review and polishing with mentors or Instructors. Also, all our students retain full access to materials, class recordings, and allowing them to continue to learn from our instructors in live online classrooms after graduating to continue to improve their skills and qualify for industry jobs.
